Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of militarytransitionroundtable.com (the “Site”), operated by Military Transition Roundtable (“MTR,” “we,” “us”), a nonprofit organization exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 85-0886670). By using the Site, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What MTR does

MTR supports veterans and service members transitioning to civilian life through mentorship, workshops, roundtables, and community programs. Content on the Site describes those programs and how to take part.

Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse it: no interfering with the Site’s operation, no scraping or harvesting other users’ information, no impersonation, and no posting false information through our forms.

Programs and events

Mentoring, workshops, and community events are offered in good faith to support your transition, but they are not professional legal, financial, medical, or mental-health advice, and they do not create a professional-client relationship. Participation is voluntary. For emergencies, call 911 or the Veterans Crisis Line (988, then press 1).

Donations

Donations are processed securely by Clover; your payment details go to Clover, not to us. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law; we will send a receipt for your records. Unless a specific receipt says otherwise, no goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation. If you set up a recurring donation and want to change or cancel it, contact us at Anne-Marie (am2mgmt@gmail.com).

Third-party services

The Site links to or embeds third-party services, including Keap (forms), Clover (donations), Zoom (events), and YouTube (video). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Intellectual property

The Site’s text, design, logos, and photos belong to MTR or our licensors. You may share links to the Site, but please do not copy substantial content, or use our name or logo, without written permission.

Disclaimers and limits

The Site is provided “as is.” We work to keep information accurate and current but make no warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to $100.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
